Kirk's mom came to visit us for a week. We loved having her here! She spent countless hours playing pom poms and balloons with Cade. She loved holding Cami and helping get her to sleep. She baby sat for us a few times, did the dishes and even made us treats. Maybe we should have Grandma move in.

Kirk's professor got sick and he ended up with a morning off. Luckily, the weather was great and we all went to the zoo.

Saturday morning we headed up to Memphis and rode the old trolley around down town. Cade loves his hat, by the way.
Cami thoroughly enjoyed both the zoo and trolley ride. She saw the insides of her eyelids :) Sometimes newborns can be really easy to get along with.
We went out to lunch at Central BBQ and got their famous nachos. Don't worry, Grandma didn't eat all of that by herself!

Fun! Always nice to have a visiting grandparent...more rest for mommy and daddy, too :)
