February 28

Tomorrow is Leap day!  One of my friends had a baby last time it was leap day.  I think that is a pretty cool birthday.

This week we didn't really do anything out of the ordinary, but it was fun.  Monday Cade had preschool.  We were supposed to have Elaine come over and play, but Cami was throwing up overnight and so she didn't come.  Cami was feeling better by afternoon, but we stayed home all day.

Tuesday I really needed to go to the grocery store.  One of our friends asked if we wanted to go to the park and she ended up taking Cade to the park while I took the girls to the store.  I met them at the park afterward.  It was much better for me and Cade that way (and really nice of my friend!).  Kirk was in the OR and ended up with only one case so he was done by 11;00.  He came home and hung out for a bit and then went for a bike ride and back to catch up on some work for a few hours.  We got Cade a new pedal bike and now Cami has the balance bike.  Kirk helped Cade put the bike together that night.

Wednesday we stayed home except for preschool and going for a bike ride in the afternoon.  Cade was a little nervous, but he was going pretty well.  He crashed one time, but some soft grass caught him and he was fine.

Thursday we went to the park with a big group of friends and played and rode bikes.  Cami has decided she doesn't like playing with friends anymore and stayed right with me the whole time.  Kirk was off and went golfing in the morning and then hung out at home in the afternoon.  I went running (first time in a year!) and Kirk and Cade played golf for a while in the backyard.

Saturday we took the kids and went fishing at the seep lakes.  We only caught a couple, but it was a gorgeous day and we had fun.  The kids were happy and at one point on the way home we had 3 sleeping children.  We went to a Dentistry for kids party at Round Table for dinner.
