Cami's Birthday!
She wanted streamers and balloons, so we did that. We made her a cake out of cupcakes that was decorated like an Elsa dress. She got a dress-up Elsa dress, an Elsa doll, a bike helmet, some hair clips and a pony. Grandma Smith sent some puzzles and Grandma Morris gave her some clothes and duplo blocks. We had a fun little party with Scott and Kara. Dar and Gary stopped by for a bit too. Cami hasn't really enjoyed playing with friends lately, so we skipped a big party. We had meatballs for dinner and cinnamon rolls for breakfast and went for a bike ride. Cami is very excited to be 3 years old and thinks she is quite a big girl.
We had a chance to go to the park with friends twice this week for a picnic lunch. We went on a few bike rides too. We went to Dar's house and watched the BYU game and to Home Depot to build the kids craft on Saturday.
We have had several Cami moments lately. . .
We got home from church and a few minutes later, Cami said "mommy, I just did something you don't like." She was standing in the kitchen in a puddle. We got her pants changed.
Next thing I knew, she had marker all over her face.
She got mad at me because I wouldn't let her use glitter by herself (duh) and I put her in her room for hitting. She ripped the blankets off of Cade's bed and pushed his mattress off of the frame.
She is all done taking naps which makes for some onery evenings.
Cade:
Loves preschool, Star Wars and playing with his friends.
We went to get a birthday present for Cami and found some pool noodles that we turned into light sabers. He has had a great time fighting with them.
He reads me a book every day. We are doing the bob books and he is doing very well.
He loves numbers and likes to tell me he want to eat 100 plus 80 sandwiches or whatever.
Ellie:
She had a cold for part of the week, but is doing much better now.
She slept through the night twice this week!
She loves to play wheels on the bus and giggles out loud.
She loves when anyone talks to her, especially Cade and Cami.
